Northcott Liquorette 40 W Chicago Ave, Naperville, IL 60540 Northcott is a cool new Speakeasy in Downtown Naperville. It's hidden away at the top of Empire restaurant. You need a reservation and come prepared to enjoy old fashioned mixed drinks and liquors along with appetizers. Visit their  Website  &  Menu What we ordered:  Absinthe fountain and Northcott 75 Cheese tray and a burger (from Empire) How was the food/drinks? Great Price:  Pretty expensive drinks, but you are paying for the atmosphere as well. Atmosphere: Great atmosphere. The eclectic furniture provides a variety of seating arrangements. The music is good and not overpowering. The atmosphere provides a unique experience Service: The service was great. The bartenders were entertaining.

BD's Mongolian Grill

BD's Mongolian Grill 221 S Washington St, Naperville, IL 60540 BD's Mongolian Grill is one of our kids favorite's in Naperville. It's a fun atmosphere and allows everyone to choose what they want to have cooked. I'm not as big of a fan of Mongolian Grills in general. (I'm kind of weird about my food all touching and being mixed together...) but the rest of the family likes it and I'm happy to go along. Visit their  Website  &  Menu What we ordered:  We all ordered the "Create your own stir fry--one bowl and salad bar." How was the food? I had a shrimp, sausage, steak and vegetables and covered it with the Mongolian sauce mixed with garlic. We took our bowls to the round grill where cooks grilled it for us while we watched. They had a lot of energy and did tricks with the tongs while we watch the food cook. The salad bar was decent. We ordered an appetizer of Crab Rangoon, but it was cooked more than I prefer.  Price:  Th

Fat Rosies

Fat Rosie's 47 E Chicago Ave, Naperville, IL 60540 Fat Rosie's is a great new Mexican restaurant in Downtown Naperville. It's a few doors down from Barnes and Noble and an easy restaurant to get to from the parking garage--especially on a cold winter night! The salsa and chips are fresh, the taco's are great and the margarita's are tasty and large! Visit their  Website  &  Menu What we ordered:  Drinks:  The blackberry margarita and regular margarita on the rocks came to the table in nice big glasses, rimmed in salt. They were delicious and hit the spot! The blackberry margarita had crushed blackberries that added an interesting taste. Chips and Salsa: The Chips are fresh with a hint of lime. (I don't typically like lime flavored chips, but this was very faint and they were super fresh.) The salsa was fresh. I liked that it had cilantro. It would be considered mild, which is great for me, but my wife prefers a bit more spice. Main Course: W

Nando's

This Restaurant is now CLOSED Ted's Montana Grill is one of those restaurants that we sometimes end up going to when we're looking for a great burger. They feature a variety of beef and bison burgers as well as fish and steaks. This is a chain restaurant and one of the two Illinois locations is in Naperville. Visit their  Website  &  Menu What we ordered: Bison Burger, Swiss and Mushroom Beef Burger, Trout How was the food? The beef burgers here are really outstanding. The bison is great, too, but don't have experience with other bison burgers to compare. I love the Mushroom and Swiss burger--which has great cheese and mushrooms as well as some sour cream.  The trout was also fresh and delicious. I also enjoyed their wedge salad. When you are seated, you are presented with a free appetizer of pre-pickeled cucumbers.   Price:  The price is decent for a good burger.  Atmosphere: The restaurant decor feels like you've been transported to the We

Front Street Cantina--Our first outing

Menda grew up in San Antonio and loves Mexican food. Over the past 15 years of living Illinois, it's been a challenge to find good Mexican food; however, Front Street Cantina is one of our favorites when visiting Naperville so we started our "visit all Naperville Restaurant" quest at one of our favorites--Front Street Cantina. Visit their  Website  &  Menu What we ordered: shared shrimp fajitas Complimentary Chips and Salsa Margarita How was the food?                                                          Chips and Salsa: The chips are fresh the salsa is good. I make homemade salsa so we're pretty picky, but this is good. Shimp Fajitas: Nice, plump shrimp with onions and bell peppers. Came sizzling hot to the table with freshly made tortillas. It was more than enough for the two of us to share (we weren't that hungry.) But beware it comes with A LOT of green and red bell peppers. The margarita was delicious! Price:  We ate (be
