Q-BBQ: Slow Cooked BBQ. Created from Scratch. With Love

For those of you who love BBQ in a casual setting, this is the place. Whether you prefer Carolina, Memphis or Texas-style BBQ, this restaurant in the middle of Naperville has it all. Their meats are cooked low and slow for up to 22 hours and their sides and sauces are homemade from scratch.

Naperville's Q-BBQ is one of 4 stores in the Chicago-land area. It is located on the corner of Main and Van Buren in the heart of downtown.

What we ordered:

1 Meat Meal with Two Sides: Sliced Brisket, Fries, Hushpuppies and Brussel Sprouts.

2 BBQ Chicken Taco's

Sweet Tea!

How was the food?

The Brisket was so delicious. I felt like I was stepping into a BBQ shack in the south. But the thing that I really loved was the grilled Brussel Sprouts. They were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. I almost didn't get them, but was so glad that I did. I also enjoyed tasting the three different kinds of sauce (Carolina, Texas and Memphis.) All were good, but I like it sweet and loved the Memphis style.

Reasonably priced.

We went on a Wednesday night and there were plenty of open tables. The view from inside provides a nice chance the world go by in Downtown Naperville, while you enjoy some good food.
