Rosebud in Downtown Naperville is a family favorite. This was the first restaurant we visited 15 years ago when we came to Chicago on a job-relocation visit, and it's only stretching it slightly to say that visit to Rosebud helped seal the deal for us to move here.
Originating in Chicago's Little Italy Rosebud's Naperville location offers incredible authentic Italian food. The portions are large, the flavor is great and the service is always makes you feel at home.
We do miss the previous location (which is now Empire.) The older location felt more like a family restaurant. The location is more modern and can get loud during the busy time, so I recommend hitting this restaurant off peak hours.
Naperville Foodie Pointers:
PARKING: Don't drive around trying to find parking. Just go to the parking garage across the street. You'll save time and frustration.
VEAL PARMESAN: I love the Veal Parmesan. It's super tasty and the platter-sized portion is enough for 3-4 people--seriously! It also comes with a pasta side.

HOW TO SAVE $$: Head to Costco before going there because you can buy a two $50 gift cards for $74.99, making the restaurant a little more affordable.
LARGE PORTIONS: Either plan to share or plan to take a lot home for left-overs.

SALMON: The Salmon is fresh and flavorful. For a lighter option try bruschetta style with fresh tomatoes drizzled with balsamic oil and served over a bed of spinach.
