My friend, Traci, and her son, Colin, were visiting Naperville and hungry for a good hamburger. We stopped by Jimmy's Grill. Located in the heart of Downtown, Jimmy's is a must-visit Naperville restaurant. Its outdoor seating provides a great view of downtown while you enjoy some delicious food.

Jimmy’s Grill features a new, exciting locally sourced menu featuring house braised meats, free-range chicken, fresh seafood, and baked goods. They use only the highest quality ingredients in all of our homemade dressings, marinades, and sauces. They also feature desserts from DeEtta’s Bakery. Most people go to Jimmy's for their outdoor patio, a large selection of drinks, and live entertainment Thursday - Sunday night. The service was friendly and attentive. The outdoor seating area is really popular, so plan ahead during busy times in order to sit outside.

How was the food?

Hamburger - Colin declared that it was the best hamburger he had ever eaten! You can't get a better review than that.
Pulled Pork - Great flavor and very tender
Jerk Chicken Tacos- A great option for someone who wants a different take on chicken tacos. It's packed with different flavors of pineapple salsa, pickled red cabbage, and cilantro.

Don't let the summer pass you by without a trip to Naperville's Farmers' Market. It's open every Saturday (rain or shine) in the Fifth Avenue Station parking lot and definitely worth the trip. Northcott Liquorette 40 W Chicago Ave, Naperville, IL 60540 Northcott is a cool new Speakeasy in Downtown Naperville. It's hidden away at the top of Empire restaurant. You need a reservation and come prepared to enjoy old fashioned mixed drinks and liquors along with appetizers. Visit their Website & Menu What we ordered: Absinthe fountain and Northcott 75 Cheese tray and a burger (from Empire) How was the food/drinks? Great Price: Pretty expensive drinks, but you are paying for the atmosphere as well. Atmosphere: Great atmosphere. The eclectic furniture provides a variety of seating arrangements. When you have friends from out-of-town, it's always fun to make a stop at a traditional Chicago-style Pizza place, and the Giordano's in Downtown Naperville is the perfect spot.
