If you like fresh cakes and pastries, lattes and mochas, French entrees and lots of chocolate, Le Chocolat is the perfect place for you. The cozy environment makes you feel welcomed and relaxed. Even during COVID-19, there are outdoor dining options available so you can enjoy a taste of Paris 4,000 miles away in Naperville.

Although we only sampled some of their best desserts, they also have a French Bistro seating area with a French-American style menu with lunch and dinner options Tuesday-Sunday. As we enter phase four, that indoor area will soon reopen as well, once their current flooring project is completed.

What we ate:

Banana Nutella Crepe
I am a big Nutella and banana fan, so I was excited to put them together in a crepe. It was sweet and delicious. It reminded me of a crepe restaurant I have been to in New York City in the Plaza Hotel.

Slice of Carrot Cake

This is one of their bestsellers, and it was easy to see why. The carrot cake was very scrumptious! It tasted like a beautiful, fresh carrot. It is easy to split one slice with multiple people.

Chocolate Shake
They have many cute and creative shake options on their menu that you can get in chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry. The chocolate shake we had tasted like frozen hot chocolate — it was delicious! And the cute sugar cookies on top were beautiful, tasty, and perfect for summer!

You should also try…

The Chocolate Regime: It’s rich dark chocolate that promotes health and wellness! It can help you lose weight and boost immunity. Who doesn’t love a piece of healthy chocolate? Plus, two pieces a day is essentially five-hour energy. We tried a sample and it was fantastic.

Croque Monsieur: We did not order this ourselves but, the owner, Cathy Bouchard, recommends it when dining in. This is a signature French sandwich to try!

Other Tips and Pointers:

-Split items! The three of us still had leftovers when splitting the crepe, carrot cake, and shake. It’s all so good that you’re going to want to eat everything, but I guarantee you, the portions are large enough to share.

-Bring your mask! When inside the store placing your order, you will have to wear a face mask. But, when sitting with your party outside, you do not need to wear it.

-Host a party or event with Le Chocolat! Their private party room and party package options are perfect for birthdays, celebrations, and other special occasions! To learn more and reserve the room for an event, there is more information on the website.
